This month we saw 11 participants and 132 score submissions in our SEGA Saturn SHIRO! May 2025 Community Challenge, competing against each other in the recently English translated Jung Rhythm. It’s a Tale of Two Chorkings, with both Nezu and Lord Zillion scoring perfect scores on all the stages, each getting the maximum 3,500 points. QberT came in third place with a score of 3,410. Lord Zillion claimed the Stage 1 prize, QberT Stage 4, Crash Stage 6 and Nezu on Stages 2, 3, 5 and 7.
SEGASteve was untouchable all month in the Speedrun Category with a no-fail run of 23 minutes and 17 seconds, scoring 3,267 points in the process. Squilliam remained all alone in the Emulation category, but beefed up his score to 3,287 in the final week to take down his buddy Rink Rat‘s score by 305 points.
