A late 1997 Japan-only release, Tactics Formula is a self-described tactical board game. It’s a racing game but rather than controlling your vehicle in real time, you select moves in a timed, successive turn-based fashion before watching the results unfold in a top-down view.
Take the track conditions, weather, vehicle specifications, and your opponents into account as you plan your moves!
Excellent presentation, multiple cars, teams, and tracks, and frenetic gameplay make this a great little racing sim, though the language barrier is strong.
