Psikyo Titles to Be Delisted from Steam on Oct. 31

On Wednesday, Psikyo Portal announced the end of sale for many of their games on the Steam platform:

These include games that appeared on the SEGA Saturn such as STRIKERS 1945 I and II, Gunbird, and Sengoku Blade. Also being removed are Gunbird 2 and Zero Gunner 2, which appeared on the Dreamcast.

Anyone who buys these games before they’re delisted should still be able to re-download and continue playing them.

Other digital platforms such as the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, and Microsoft Store will continue to sell these games digitally.

The games’ publisher, City Connection, said the titles are leaving Steam because a license agreement expired. While the exact details of that license agreement are unknown, it may have something to do with City Connection selling Psikyo successor Zerodiv to another company, Edia, in February.

If you wish to buy these to play on PC and missed out on the Steam versions, you can purchase these from the Microsoft Store, which allow PC play of these titles.

If you are also concerned of these titles being removed from other platforms, you can still buy the physical collections of these games on sites such as PlayAsia for a fairly affordable price (as of this story’s publication).
