Let’s see your best poker face, SHIRO! community! The March Community Challenge is none other than the “Serious Fun” Virtual Casino. The Community Challenge begins March 1 and runs until the end of the month.
Both NTSC and PAL consoles can be used for this month’s challenge. Saving is not permitted for Free Play category submissions but is allowed for Story Mode. Your score, referred to as “cash-out” totals in the rules below, will be the number shown on the save screen when exiting a Free Play game.
Participants have the entire month to hit the “Jackpot” at the Slot Machine in Free Play Mode. Additionally, the story-focused challenge “Gamester” — roll the credits in Story Mode — is open all month long.
Weekly challenges, all of which are games played in the Free Play Mode, will run throughout the month. Each of them challenges players to see who can walk away with the largest “cash-out” total.
We begin the month strong with fan-favorite Blackjack. The corresponding “Natural” category runs between March 1 and 8. The following week’s “La Grande” challenge March 9 to 15 focuses on Baccarat. March 16 through 22 the SHIRO! Community can put it all on black with the “Wheel King” Roulette challenge. We will close the month with the “Poker Prodigy” prize March 23 through 31 for the SHIRO! with the highest cash-out total in 7 Card Stud.
The participant with the highest combined “cash-out” amount across all five Free Play games will win the Casino Commandant award, which will include a special one-off prize in addition to bespoke challenge magnets.
SHIRO! Virtual Casino Community Challenge magnets — designed by SaturnDave and made by Xiden — will be awarded to all category winners and anyone who rolls credits on the game’s Story Mode.

- No emulation. No Action Replay or Pseudo Saturn cheats. No cheating.

- No saving in Free Play Mode!
- Photographic evidence of “cash-out” total is mandatory — it’s on the save screen when exiting Free Play.
