SHIRO! SHOW Recap

The Big One. Arriving in 1998 as the Western Saturn faded, this magnificent RPG features an innovative combat system and a story of betrayal, loss, and redemption, set in a post-apocalyptic future world. Directed by Futatsugi and scored by Kobayashi, Panzer Dragoon Saga has earned a place amongst the greatest games of all time.

The combat system sees the player jockeying for optimal position before unleashing destruction on enemies.
The story is at times minimalist, at times grandiose. The sparse NPCs are all struggling to make their way through life.
Some of the locales are stunningly majestic, and hauntingly empty. Beautiful loneliness.

Peter Malek

A Saturn fan since the beginning, Peter plays Saturn almost exclusively. For Peter, Saturn represents a moment in time where 2D games were at their best, 3D was just rising, and fascinating gaming 'firsts' were commonplace.  There are very few Saturn games that Peter cannot find some enjoyment in!
