Metal Fighter Miku is part visual novel, part QTE adventure style futu-wrestling game based on the 13-episode 1994 anime. Set in the year 2061 where wrestlers wear futuristic armor, you play as Miku – part of the ‘Pretty Four’ tag team – and bid to win the Neo Pro Wrestling world title. Taking on opponents such as Mad Kong and many others, this delightful game is a prime example of the Saturn shining culturally in its native country in a way that would never work in the West.
A Saturn fan since the beginning, Peter plays Saturn almost exclusively. For Peter, Saturn represents a moment in time where 2D games were at their best, 3D was just rising, and fascinating gaming ‘firsts’ were commonplace. There are very few Saturn games that Peter cannot find some enjoyment in!
