RENSA Love Chain (Unreleased) Playthrough

Once again, YouTube channel 裏路地Gamers (Back Alley Gamers) has managed to acquire on loan another rare and unreleased Japanese Saturn game, RENSA Love Chain from owner HRD-Chan 4078.
The release candidate (v1.00) of RENSA (Love Links) is a puzzle/dating sim by obscure Japanese developer, Signal Light, Corp.

While a YouTube playthrough is far from the image dump that the community has been hoping for, it at least gives us a good idea what the games consists of and is all about.

Announcement Trailer (in Japanese)

Here is the description roughly translated from Japanese to English:

Koi Chain -RENSA-.

…A puzzle game in which a 22 year old trainee teacher goes on a rampage at the high school where he is training in order to get a girlfriend.

I can kind of understand why it was never released…

…The puzzle game “Koi Chain – RENSA-” was scheduled to be released on September 17, 1996, but was never released.

I was able to borrow it again from Mr. HRD…and this time, Mr. HRD himself played it for me.
We will play it with Mr. Hige, a mysterious person, while enjoying the unique Akiba talk among the three of us. (There is a beep sound in the second half lol)
Here is the first part.
