AI Igo is the Saturn version of the popular table game Go. A 19×19 square board hosts matches, where the object is to capture more territory than the opponent. Black and white pieces are placed on square intersections and need to be linked to surround and capture prisoners (the opponent’s pieces). This 1997 Japan-only Saturn release is for 1 or 2 players and supports the mouse.
A Saturn fan since the beginning, Peter plays Saturn almost exclusively. For Peter, Saturn represents a moment in time where 2D games were at their best, 3D was just rising, and fascinating gaming ‘firsts’ were commonplace. There are very few Saturn games that Peter cannot find some enjoyment in!
