Parodius #BestOfSaturn

Konami’s Parodius saw Saturn release in Japan and in Europe in late 1995 — a planned North American release was ultimately cancelled.

A side-scrolling shmup consisting of two older Parodius games meant to parody Konami’s own Gradius and other franchises, these colorful and fast games don’t take themselves overly seriously but are fun and challenging in their own right.

The visuals may be relatively primitive but with 7+ and 10+ stages across the two games, there is a lot of gameplay to be had here.
