Voice Fantasia #BestOfSaturn

1997’s Voice Fantasia is perhaps best described as a minigame-driven RPG-like hodgepodge title reliant on copious voice acting as its main draw.

In the game, three crazy girls must use their magical voices to save the world. The RPG aspects are super light (there aren’t experience points to gain, for example) and the story is very linear. There is even a very light dating sim aspect to the game!

It’s as if the developers threw a bunch of random game ideas into a hat and then decided to use ALL of the ideas to some extent in Voice Fantasia. It… kind of works in a LOL sort of way.

A Saturn fan since the beginning, Peter plays Saturn almost exclusively. For Peter, Saturn represents a moment in time where 2D games were at their best, 3D was just rising, and fascinating gaming 'firsts' were commonplace.  There are very few Saturn games that Peter cannot find some enjoyment in!
