Exxistance does it again and releases a fan translation based on the anime and manga series Ninku. The fighting game follows the frog-looking character Fūsuke, who is immensely powerful and is from the Ninku school, fighting off the evil corporations named after the Chinese Zodiac animals.

This was a shadow drop by Exxistance, and was released April 6, 2026, on several Discords and social media platforms:
While for the most part English isn’t needed too much to enjoy the game, he made some good quality of life changes to the title, such as:
- Translated title screen, localized title
- Translated main menu
- Translated character names on character select screen
- In-game UI elements translated
- English subtitles for opening movie, game over, and character win quote FMVs
According to his notes on the GitHub page.
The game is a fairly straightforward fighting game, very similar to the Yu Yu Hakusho fighting game on the 3DO, using a drawn cel style to capture each frame:

Well, at least Ninku looks way better…
No other translator besides Exxistance is listed in the credits, so we wanted to give everyone a heads up some AI was potentially used in the translation of this project.
While this game isn’t the biggest in demand for a fan translation, it’s a quirky little fighting game based on an anime series, and everyone should give it a try!
