We’re back with a new issue of SHIRO! Monthly: a digital magazine using all the stories we posted to the website in April! It’s attached to this Patreon post for SHIRO! supporters at any paid tier.

This issue’s headlining story is on the Langrisser III translation, with other stories getting the feature treatment including FPS boosts in Saturn games, the chaos of the first NetLink Night and FULLSET’s upcoming indie game Overserved.
Danthrax worked for the last few weeks on this 56-page e-zine (64 pages if you count the covers) and he got some help from TraynoCo this time, including the two-page spread on the Fantastic Pinball translation and the Ninku translation page you see previewed below.

There are two new features this month. The first is a letter from the SHIRO!s, which is kind of like a letter from the editor of the magazine. We’ll probably trade off who writes these each month — this month, TraynoCo wrote about his feelings making a Saturn magazine again.
The other new feature is one that readers requested: A comments section! We’ve devoted four pages to printing comments from our readers posted across all our platforms — this website, YouTube, Bluesky, X and Facebook. We didn’t print all of the comments we got on our April stories, so if you left your thoughts on anything last month, check pages 52 through 55 to see if yours made the cut.
Let us know if you like this format for printing reader comments or if you’d rather see them some other way.
We still don’t have concrete plans to print this e-zine physically, but we’re thinking more seriously about it. Let us know if you want to see that!
