What began three months ago at the start of May, the ninth SEGA Saturn SHIRO! Online Tournament, Puyo Puyo Sun For Sega Networks, ended earlier this week with TheNotoriousVPD taking the top sun spot as worldwide champion!
VPD had previously won against Retrospectors for the East Coast bracket, then against Xiden for the USA title before his worldwide match against Mickschen, the European bracket champ and previous Saturn Bomberman tournament winner.
All three bracket champions will get a special exclusive teepublic hat designed by SaturnDave specifically for this tournament. Who will get which color? Only SaturnDave knows!
Thanks to all 24 of our participants both East and West, as well as overseas in Europe! Everyone did a great job getting their matches in on time, we haven’t had a tournament conclude in under three months since the Rally tournament back in 2023!
