Just a heads up, hotmail ( and most likely other providers) is sending forum emails to junk. You should setup DKIM/DMARC , but the main issue is the sender is segasaturnshiro.com but the SPF record is for gator4305.hostgator.com so the wrong domain is being authenticated, this needs fixed

I was able to fix all that, but now no emails are being sent for user registraion. Any help would be appreciated 🙂

are you getting any bounce backs, or some sort of error logs? trying to jog my memory as its been a while ( as you kind of set this up and once it working you don’t look at it again lol )

I got it sorted out, mucked with a rule on Google Workspace, but everything should be good now. It should be sending to the regular inboxed now.

good news, looking at the email headers everything looks correct. bad news it went to my junk again, but I think that will fix itself in time as its a reputation thing, which might have taken a little hit at first because of the incorrect settings… but this worries me:

Again might be because of the wrong email setup and will fix itself

Is it possible some of the new topic requests are going to junk or getting lost as well?

Tried to create a Saturn music thread in the Saturn section, but mentioned it was sent for approval. Not sure if something got messed up due to using YouTube embed tags?

We had an email issue yesterday, so I think it might have gotten sent to the void. I would try creating it again today.

I’m not sure what the concern is from the link

ahh you can’t link directly to black list, on the page change the look up to “blacklist check” or enter blacklist:segasaturnshiro.com in the search bar, you will see the domain is on 3 blacklists

                Ah I see..

We just switched to a new SMTP server, so maybe that will remedy it. Nothing that can be done in that case.

Just the one blacklist now, which you can request to be removed from

                https://www.spamsources.fabel.dk/delist

just submit you ip and they should remove you 162.241.194.44
(I was going to do it myself, but then I would be the contact point for your domain/ip for that blacklist which i’m sure you don’t want 😉 )

just noticed that subscribed to a forum topic emails are going to spam again. looking at the headers it looks like it failing DMARC again, and thats the main reason. Here are the headers
