First thread on the Dreamcast section, similar to the one in the Saturn section, how do you play Dreamcast games? Original hardware/emulation/modern ports/etc.

I’ve got my PAL console setup to a Dell P1917S via a VGA cable with an audio-out. I use a set of Logitech headphones for audio. PSU has been swapped out for a Robot Retro USB-C unit, controller board has the fuse and coin battery mods. Use a GDEMU (Clone) and have a 8BitMods VMU Pro for saves. Controllers are all originals with vibration packs. Also have a spare mainboard with a broken AV out.

Pretty much just like my Saturn. Original Japanese hardware but in this case I have two systems. One using the GDEMU while the other is an origin release with the heatpipes and Yamaha GDRom Drive. That one is used to play original discs.
Both systems run via VGA (via a non-lag HDMI converter) or RGB through the Retrotink x5 Pro.

Emulation with Redream being my emulator of choice. Flycast core on Batocera is pretty good too, but I prefer the Redream UI and simplicity.
