Mission Briefing Example

Their plan is to translate all on-screen Japanese into English and swap out all Japanese voice acting for English voice acting.

“We’ve replaced nearly all the on-screen text, but we need volunteer voice actresses to record lines for the seven navigators the player can fly with! We encourage anyone interested to reach out to us via the contact info below” -Danthrax4

Great effort. I certainly appreciate it

  2. Thank you for this spotlight! Just want to mention that Mampfus has also been an integral part of this project. He has played an important role in figuring out how to actually implement the translated content into the game data,

Additionally, Ghaleon has been helping edit the translated text to ensure it reads well and isn’t full of glaring translatorisms.

Just wanted to make sure these guys are all credited, because they’re all critical parts of what has been entirely a team effort.

Thanks Greg! Both Mampfus and Ghaleon are mentioned in the article, and they were shouted on Twitter as well… (There were some early edits, though, so your browser might need a refresh)

    • Hey guys, I just sent Mampfus the tool I made for working with the audio files more comfortably, hope it helps. I chose python for implementing this so it’s pretty much platform independent. Cool project! 🙂

      • Yeah, Thorsten, that’s really great of you, you made my work a lot easier. Be sure to be mentioned in the credits :*.

        Besten Dank, mein Thorsti Borsti!

      • Thank you for this major contribution!

  3. Looking forward to this. I’m thankful for all the effort and enthusiasm put into projects like these.
