Cotton Rock ‘n’ Roll Announced for Switch/PC/PS4!

As if we didn’t have enough Cotton with Cotton Reboot and Cotton Guardian Force Saturn Tribute dropping, we have a third Cotton title dropping in 2021!

Success has recently announced that a new title in the series, Cotton Rock ‘n’ Roll: Superlative Night Dreams will be releasing in December 2021. This game will feature both the elements from 2D Cotton games (Cotton 1 and 2), and the 3D on rail elements (Panorama Cotton and Rainbow Cotton).

The special editions for this game are something to be excited about, it comes in three different editions:

• Standard:
  – Retail release of the game
• Limited Edition
  – Retail release of the game
  – Nendoroid Cotton Nata de Cotton
  – Cotton 30th Anniversary Cotton Complete Works
  – 20 track Cotton original soundtrack.
• FAMITSU EBTEN Edition
  – Retail release of the game
  – Nendoroid Cotton Nata de Cotton
  – Cotton 30th Anniversary Cotton Complete Works
  – 20 track Cotton original soundtrack.
  

Some in game screenshots have been posted, and while it doesn’t look the greatest currently, I imagine it will look better in motion once gameplay video is posted:

Keep an eye out for Cotton Rock ‘n’ Roll in December of 2021 in Japan, and later on in 2022 for the USA. No plans have been announced for a localization, but with Strictly Limited Games handling Cotton Reboot, there’s a good chance they’ll handle this newest Cotton title as well. Luckily for us, both versions of the game are region free!
