Changelog:

  • Adds support for latest Fenrir API, making it compatible with firmware 2021/07/02.
  • Adds support for nested folders in disc image selection menu for Fenrir ODE.
  • Adds support for Satiator ODE in Save Data Manager.
  • Additional fonts in disc image selection menus for Rhea/Phoebe and Fenrir ODEs.
  • More stable game loading on Fenrir ODE.
  • Fixed JHL loader to make it compatible with grey Japanese Saturn on BIOS v1.00. (Special thanks to JHL – Professor Abrasive – for investigating it!)
  • Fixed compatibility issues with games relying on uninitialized VDP1 RAM. (Major graphical issues fixed in Croc (JPN and bug-fixed USA versions) and Slam ‘n Jam ’96.) / (Minor graphical issues fixed in MechWarrior 2, Need for Speed, and Space Hulk)
  • Adds Commslink I/O background check in Pseudo Saturn Kai, Save Data Manager, and RmenuKai/Fenrir Loader Kai utilities. (No need to flash cartridge to get link between Saturn and PC : Save Data Manager is enough for that) / (No longer need to manually set EMS/Datel link type : it is now automatically detected)
  • Adds ability to erase cartridge ROM in Firmware Flasher utility.
  • Many minor fixes and improvements in Save Data Manager.

Another thing not mentioned in the digest changelog is that “Super Prologue 21 Games Vol.1” is now playable in Pseudo Saturn Kai without the need to patch it. Shouts to Knight0fDragon for the cheat code, and thanks to him and Rikapso for their Shining the Holy Ark and Shining Force 3 save files which have been added to Save Data Manager

The next development goal will be disc image selection for Satiator ODE. Huge thanks and shouts to cafe-alpha for creating this patch and to privateye for reporting bugs, which has helped greatly in making it a highly polished release!
