MiSTer Saturn Core Update

Back on November 5, 2021, srg320 released a Saturn core update for the MiSTer project, and it’s clear that significant progress has been made. Remember folks, this is not software emulation, but rather hardware emulation, so while there may be a long way to go before we see the kind of compatibility that software emulators currently enjoy, the potential in this project is all about reaching perfect emulation of the Saturn’s chipset, itself.

While not perfect, it’s still exciting to see the progress being made, and SHIRO! will continue to provide updates regarding any significant strides in the Saturn MiSTer core.
