The Segata Sanshiro TV ads were so successful in Japan, that SEGA put together the Japan-only game ‘Segata Sanshiro Shinken Yugi’ as part of the character’s send-off when the Dreamcast had arrived to succeed the Saturn. Essentially a collection of mini-games of varying quality as well as video of all of the brilliant TV ads, this disc was for the hardcore SEGA Saturn fans. We will never forget you, Segata!
A Saturn fan since the beginning, Peter plays Saturn almost exclusively. For Peter, Saturn represents a moment in time where 2D games were at their best, 3D was just rising, and fascinating gaming ‘firsts’ were commonplace. There are very few Saturn games that Peter cannot find some enjoyment in!
