The recently unearthed Saturn version of Tomb Raider 2 was actually completed back in 1997 but due to Eidos’ deal with Sony for exclusivity, was buried at the time. ‘Hardware limitations’ was the official line for the Saturn cancellation. A total shame, as the Saturn version featured a much tighter engine compared to the first game, bigger locations, more action and secrets, and a less… prismatic depiction of the heroine!
