A Koei production, EMIT Vol 1 (there were 3 in total) is a visual novel meant to teach the English language to Japanese gamers. In the options menu, the text and spoken dialogue can all be changed to English, allowing players to enjoy the short story – but it is clear this was meant as an ‘edutainment’ title as much as a bona-fide gaming experience.
A Saturn fan since the beginning, Peter plays Saturn almost exclusively. For Peter, Saturn represents a moment in time where 2D games were at their best, 3D was just rising, and fascinating gaming ‘firsts’ were commonplace. There are very few Saturn games that Peter cannot find some enjoyment in!
