Community Members Help Power SHIRO! Website

What IS SHIRO!, really..?
Is it a podcast? A YouTube channel? A magazine? How about a Discord community?
One thing is for sure. SHIRO! has endless potential, and it can be as little or as much as we make of it, and the true strength of SHIRO! has always been the community!

The Saturn community may be small, but its creativity and dedication to this console is very real, and it can witnessed through so many wonderful and exciting fan projects. From English translations and dubs, to original homebrew games and online exploits, the Saturn community has carried the torch for this machine, fulfilling decade-long dreams for many of us, that SEGA themselves were never able to.

That’s why SHIRO! has partnered with community members to manage and update pages featuring all of these amazing community projects on the SHIRO! site.

SATURN TRANSLATIONS

privateye is hosting a comprehensive and up-to-date list of every Saturn fan translation project out there, including links to download the latest version patches and detailed instructions on how to patch your own games using knight0fdragon‘s Sega Saturn Patcher.

SATURN ONLINE PLAY

Eaudunord (SegaRPGFan) will be managing a comprehensive guide to getting your Saturn connected online via his Tunnel for NetLink / XBand direct-dial play against other opponents, in addition to being able to surf the old net, send email and visit the newly hosted NetLink Zone.

SATURN IN FILM & TV

Discord community member, Deathscythe, who currently manages a comprehensive guide to SEGA Saturn references in pop-culture, including Film & Television over on SegaRetro, will be doing the same here on the SHIRO! site as well.

SATURN HOMEBREW

We’ve also added a new Saturn Homebrew software directory that is currently under construction, and we’ll let you know when it goes live.
