Astal didn’t come out in Europe so didn’t know about it at the time and I enjoyed it when I played it last year. Frankenstein: Through the Eyes of the Monster was ok, better than I thought ( only wanted to play it because Tim Curry).
Back in the in 96/97 I bought Keio Flying Squadron 2 for £20 in Makro, no idea what it was, but look a ok platformer from the screenshots at the back of the cover and was relatively cheap. It was a surprise, wacky and fun, but never got past the first couple of levels. Revisited it recent via emulation and finally finished it (thank god for save states)
2026-06-17 at 06:38 in reply to: Sonic 3D Blast/Flickies’ Island file modification date research #58458But why?
why not release in 97? why release after sonic adventure?only dawning on me now, saturn games were still being released in Japan after the the dreamcast was released, while in my childhood there was a 2 year gap.
no problem, considering the amount of work you guys guys do, it nice to be able to help a little
Just the one blacklist now, which you can request to be removed from
https://www.spamsources.fabel.dk/delist
just submit you ip and they should remove you 162.241.194.44
(I was going to do it myself, but then I would be the contact point for your domain/ip for that blacklist which i’m sure you don’t want 😉 )2026-05-14 at 05:09 in reply to: How do you play Sega Saturn currently? (Real hardware, fpga, emulation) #57604Emulation via retroarch (love retroachievements) on Pocket Retro 4 pro, its runs 90%+ at full speed and the rest are still playable (you have to overclock it, which really shortens the battery. I did get a crapy cart to hmdi for my saturn a year ago just to see if it still works, but havn’t got to play much with real hardware. Might get a Saroo and some proper joypads (I only have 2 terrible 3rd party ones from back in the day)
ahh you can’t link directly to black list, on the page change the look up to “blacklist check” or enter blacklist:segasaturnshiro.com in the search bar, you will see the domain is on 3 blacklists

good news, looking at the email headers everything looks correct. bad news it went to my junk again, but I think that will fix itself in time as its a reputation thing, which might have taken a little hit at first because of the incorrect settings… but this worries me:
https://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx?action=mx%3asegasaturnshiro.com&run=toolpage#
Again might be because of the wrong email setup and will fix itselfare you getting any bounce backs, or some sort of error logs? trying to jog my memory as its been a while ( as you kind of set this up and once it working you don’t look at it again lol )
